The Haldimann H1 Flying Central Tourbillon GMT Milano Edition is a refined expression of independent watchmaking, created in collaboration between Haldimann and GMT Great Masters of Time. True to the brand’s philosophy, the watch places its mechanics at the forefront, both visually and conceptually.
At the centre of the dial sits the flying tourbillon, rotating continuously within its distinctive lyre-shaped cage. More than a technical showcase, it becomes the emotional focal point of the watch, drawing the eye with its constant motion. For this Milano Edition, the aesthetic takes a subtle turn with the introduction of Western Arabic numerals, replacing the traditional Roman markers. The grené-finished dial, rendered in warm 4N gold, is paired with black hands featuring heart-shaped tips, adding a layer of character while maintaining legibility.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound ZEN-H1 calibre, built around a central 60-second flying tourbillon. The movement is supported by three barrels and operates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, delivering a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Viewed through the sapphire caseback, the architecture remains clean and purposeful, reflecting Haldimann’s commitment to pure, uncompromised mechanics.
The watch is housed in a 39 mm platinum case and paired with a leather strap, completing a piece that is as much about restraint as it is about mechanical expression.
