Hold Up And Freeze, Bradley Cooper Is Now Officially A Louis Vuitton Tambour Man
Announced less than 24 hours ago, actor-director Bradley Cooper will now be the official ambassador for Louis Vuitton’s Tambour line. This comes synonymously with the watch’s 20th anniversary, emblematically tying the association together as a match of icons.
One of Hollywood’s most accomplished actors with nine Oscar nominations, Bradley Cooper has won international acclaim, garnering recognition across the Academy Awards, BAFTAs, SAG Awards and Grammys. In his first campaign for the Louis Vuitton Maison, Bradley Cooper embodies the Tambour Twenty, a limited collector’s edition in a special campaign video directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Damien Chazelle and accompanying still images lensed by photographer Boo George.
The Tambour series of watches first came to life in 2002 and disrupted all the conventions of watchmaking design, delighting enthusiasts and opening up new creative horizons for the Maison. At La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, in Switzerland, bold creativity converged with excellence of horological savoir-faire.
The Tambour’s distinctive lines and innovative shape — with a round case sculpted from a single piece of metal anchored by applied horns — made a splash. Over the years, Tambour evolved, earning accolades for design and technology, adapting to wearers’ wishes, and integrating movements both classical and complex.
The Tambour Twenty pays tribute to the original Tambour by reprising its iconic codes — a deep, flared 41.5mm case, with a brown sunray dial, yellow chronograph hands, and the engraved letters ‘Louis Vuitton’ flanking the case. These are combined with LV277, a high-frequency automatic chronograph movement, a 22-carat oscillating weight, a specially engraved case back – specifying the limited edition of 200 pieces, and a custom-made trunk in Monogram canvas.
The advertising campaign for the Tambour Twenty campaign will break across Louis Vuitton social media channels and on louisvuitton.com today.
