On March 7, 2022, Omega launched a range of new collections celebrating the brand’s endeavours into the deepest oceans and farthest skies. A noteworthy reveal was the Constellation collection promising to take its wearer on a celestial journey. Pointing to Omega’s iconic “Moonwatch”—the first watch worn by an astronaut on the moon—Jean-Claude Monachon, the Vice-President of Product and Customer Service at Omega, aptly remarked during the launch, “As we are taking you to the moon, why not take a trip around the stars?” Indeed, why not?
70 years ago, Omega launched the Constellation collection. With a focus on durability, design, and dexterity, the brand has given birth to timepieces that dictate the horology world today. In keeping with that spirit, we take a closer look at the new collection and its features.
Constellation 41 mm
Featuring the renowned Constellation claws on the side of the case, this timepiece boasts a timeless appeal. Pick from dials in hues of white, rhodium-grey, gradient-green and burgundy. There is no dearth of choice when it comes to the materials, too. Choose from stainless steel, stainless steel with 18K yellow gold, and stainless steel with 18K Sedna gold, a trademark Omega rose gold metal alloy. Enjoy a luxe finish, courtesy of the rhodium-plated rotor and bridge. The timepiece is self-winding with a power reserve of 60 hours and a time zone functionality.
The featured timepiece is complemented by a polished blue ceramic bezel and a leather strap with a rubber lining in a matching colour. The white ceramic dial boasts roman numerals filled with Grand Feu white enamel, ensuring a sheen that lasts the test of time. Powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8900 and certified by METAS, the timepiece is the perfect amalgam of art and technique.
Constellation Aventurine
Featuring natural aventurine stones, this 29 mm iteration ensures that no two dials look alike. Rest assured, little compares to such air of exclusivity. Choose from dials in shades of green, red and blue. The pure Sedna gold models feature the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8701, while the models with Sedna gold and stainless steel are powered by Calibre 8700. To enhance the vibrancy of the dials, the 12-edition collection offers a matching leather strap for each timepiece. The luxurious design is further elevated by the Geneva waves in arabesque.
With diamond-set bezels and hands in Sedna gold, the watch’s aesthetic is craft for those casting around for ornate and one-of-a-kind accessories. Finally, its anti-magnetic capabilities enabled by the silicon balance spring and 50-hour power add to the watch’s overall appeal.
Constellation 28 mm:

With a brilliant stainless steel case accentuated by a mono-rang bracelet with a butterfly clasp, the 28 mm watch is a graceful addition to your collection. You can pick from dials in pastel hues, including Blush Rose, Patchouli Blossom, Celestial Blue and Green Matcha. The colours are understate with a showstopping finish. To elevate the design further, the engraved roman numerals feature the colours of the dial. However, The timepiece is power by calibre 4061 and offers quartz movement with a battery life of 48 months.
