As Diwali lit up homes across India, the world of horology experienced its own special celebration. We at The Hour Markers curated an exclusive Diwali brunch to host the multiple watch communities in India for none other than Titan Edge—one of Titan’s most iconic and innovative watch collections. This remarkable event brought together watch collectors, industry experts, and passionate enthusiasts for an afternoon of festivities, tradition and of course, precision timepieces.

Hosted in Mumbai, on the 20th of October at QEY, the Diwali brunch was a blend of tradition and modernity, perfectly in sync with the Titan Edge's ethos of combining timeless elegance with groundbreaking design. The venue was adorned with stunning Diwali décor, including intricate rangolis, diyas, and floral arrangements, creating an inviting atmosphere that honoured the festival of lights.

As guests walked in, they were greeted with the warm hospitality that The Hour Markers is known for. With a lineup of some of the most celebrated watch enthusiasts in the Indian watch community, including collectors and brand representatives, the afternoon was not just a celebration of Diwali but also a nod to India’s growing influence in the global watch market.

Sharing his thoughts on the event, watch collector Sarvesh Kedia said, “This event was very well curated, the atmosphere was amazing. I had a great time with a lot of my watch family members and it really felt like home. Thank you to Karishma and Punit for inviting me.”

The spotlight of the evening was undoubtedly on the Titan Edge collection. Known as the slimmest watch in the world at the time of its launch, the Titan Edge has become a symbol of craftsmanship and precision. Combining sleek design with cutting-edge technology, the Titan Edge has evolved into more than just a watch—it's a statement of elegance and innovation. During the event, the latest models of Titan Edge were showcased, giving guests an up-close look at the craftsmanship behind these timepieces. The new releases stayed true to the minimalist, ultra-thin design the Edge is celebrated for, while also introducing contemporary elements like modern dial textures, bright colour schemes perfectly in line with the colourful nature of Diwali.

Saurabh Lohia, a regular at The Hour Markers events said, “The party hosted by The Hour Markers has been brilliant. They always curate some of the most superb events and this has been no exception. The team goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.”

While guests mingled with each other sharing their own watch stories, a caricature artist was also present who drew accurate live representations of each guest along with a watch strapped on their wrist. This unique activity drew both intrigue as well as spurts of laughter as guests saw themselves on paper adding warmth and joy to the celebration.

Elsewhere at the party, a perfume stall was set up that offered guests a chance to take in the heady aromas of a number of different scents and also create their own personalized fragrance as a keepsake of this special afternoon. Little bottles of the fragrance made their way to the guests homes and soon became a cherished memento from their watch family.

Cassius Castellino noted, “The Hour Markers has done a great job of getting all watch enthusiasts under one roof. It was nice to meet everyone and share experiences regarding watches. Talking about Titan, the brand has really upped its game by launching new materials like Carbon fibre, technologies and models making the watches even more interesting.”

What’s a Diwali party without indulgence? Guests were treated to a gourmet food experience, complete with a variety of delicacies with a modern twist. Bite sized appetizers, hearty mains and mouth-watering desserts ensured that the celebratory spirit remained high throughout. The drinks menu was equally impressive, featuring both classic and contemporary cocktails inspired by the iconic watches, each as meticulously crafted as the Titan Edge timepieces on display.

Watch enthusiast Mohit Chuganee commented, “I had a really nice time today. I loved the activities curated by The Hour Markers especially the perfume as well as the caricature artist. I really liked that the photos were printed and shared in real time making them valuable souvenirs of a fun afternoon.”

One of the most remarkable aspects of the night was how effortlessly it blended Indian cultural elements with the world of horology. Traditional Diwali customs were seamlessly integrated into the event, making it feel like a true Indian festival but with a modern, luxury twist.

First timer Shilpa Vyas was blown away by the party. Sharing her thoughts she says, “This is my first time attending a watch event and I really didn’t know what to expect. Fortunately, it turned out really well. It was an impressive line up, festive environment and lots of new people to meet. I really liked the ceramic watches that were on display, especially the yellow coloured watch. It was interesting to see Indian brands come up with equally competitive designs, I really enjoyed it. Slim Sleek and disruptive are a few words I would use to describe the watches.”

As the afternoon slipped away came to a close, the message was clear: Titan Edge continues to break new ground, and with events like this, the brand is further cementing its position as a leader in the luxury watch market, both in India and globally. The Hour Markers did an exceptional job of curating an experience that was not only visually stunning but also deeply meaningful to watch lovers. With the festive glow of Diwali as its backdrop, The Hour Markers shone brighter than ever, leaving guests excited about what the brand will bring next.
