A timepiece is first and foremost a piece of jewellery at Piaget. Each Limelight Gala timepiece is brought to life by the abilities of Piaget artisans who never stop inventing, from the case to the dial, the bracelet to the gem-setting. The Limelight Gala Aventurine is a celebration of this innovation and know-how.

A Feminine Icon

The collection's name alludes to the illustrious Piaget Society and its lavish parties, when celebrities, artists, clients, and friends of the brand gathered to share happy memories. The Piaget Society was founded in the 1970s, during a time when creative imagination was at its peak. This is when Piaget began making jewellery watches with long lugs. The Limelight Gala collection, which has firmly established itself as a feminine icon, relies on a plethora of inspiration from this intriguing period.

The Start Of A New Story

The asymmetrical lugs, cambered case, and expert diamond setting of the Limelight Gala design are the hallmark style of the line, which is made for free-spirited women whose radiance glows easily. The Limelight Gala is more than a timepiece; it's a statement. It's more than jewellery; it's the start of a story in which each creation merges with its keeper and shines as one.

Dream Starry Nights

The Limelight Gala Aventurine is housed in a 32mm white gold case with swirls of 62 diamonds placed on two elongated lugs and a beautiful aventurine dial. A type of glass that dates back to the 17th century to the famous glass-making quarter of Murano, aventurine is made by mixing copper oxide with glass to create a pattern that resembles the stars in the galaxy. The name aventurine is derived from the Italian word "adventure," which is an appropriate homage.

The Bracelet As An Art Form

A stylish white gold Milanese mesh bracelet complements the gleam of aventurine and diamonds. This complex bracelet, which requires over 100 hours of craftsmanship by no fewer than eight Piaget artisans, is crafted with the same refinement and imaginative extravagance as a haute couture gown. It all starts with a single gold thread, which is spiralled and braided together to produce a soft gold cloth. Each bracelet is made up of 366 spirals with a sliding buckle for maximum comfort and flexibility.
