Rebellion Re-Volt x Label Noir: A Colorful Collaboration

At the Watches and Wonders 2023, Rebellion - the watchmaker Maison with a deep-rooted autorotative DNA has announced a daring collaboration with the fabled luxury watch personalization brand - Label Noir.
The result is an unexpected mechanical orchestration of two cultures that capture Rebellion’s emblematic sporty nuances with the Label Noir’s signature minimalism ethos. The interpretation starts with the yellow and red indexes which glow like flames. The sword-shaped central hands are tense and the entire case seems to be hewn out of a lava shard, yellow, red, and black.
Following the initial visual dynamic dominated by vivid colors is the impression of functionality and purpose. The timepiece launched at the Watches and Wonders with its skeletonized open-worked dial face features anthracite and grey tones in abundance and draws the eye towards the caliber.

The inceptive collaboration between Label Noir and Rebellion, Re-Volt is a timepiece full of exotic hues and an unhindered mechanical focus. For the watch with a technical carbon tonneau case featuring a skeletonized three-hand manufacture movement, Label Noir touch enhances its ultra-technical nature.
Garnering all focus on the anthracite hues, Label Noir has chosen to blur all the colors of the movement. The various coatings underline the movement’s architecture, in all its depths, and highlight the technical organs that run through the watch from one side to the other. The open back reveals the intentions: expressing the quintessence of this mechanical watch, its engine, and its coachwork.
This watch launched at the Watches and Wonders 2023 is the result of a conversation between Emmanuel Curti, artistic director of Label Noir, and the Rebellion creative team. Every detail born from this collaboration is worked on to an immaculate level of finishing and precision all made available in unique color combinations. Despite its heavy personalization, not everything has been modified in the Re-Volt. The bracelet, for example, has been kept in its original condition resulting in the matte black of the weave to serve a refined continuity of tone with the movement, as if the shocking colors were nothing more than fine flashes of light delicately suspended in the black interlacing of the mechanism.
Label Noir and Rebellion’s collaboration offers a playground of exotic colors and fine mechanical crafts. The Re-Volt timepiece launched at Watches and Wonders 2023 poses as Rebellion’s signature piece and marks Label Noir’s inception into the world of carbon.
