MB&F
Maximilian Büsser started MB&F (Maximilian Büsser and Friends) in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2005. It is widely considered to be the most innovative, sophisticated, and nontraditional luxury watch, clock, and music box manufacturer in the world. MB&F’s intricate, whimsical sophistication can be seen in its clocks and novelties, which are inspired by science fiction and feature elements like retro-futuristic vehicles and aquatic life.
The original watches produced by the brand were not only striking in appearance, but also remarkably accurate. The regulating system in the Horological Machine No.1 (HM1), released in 2007, was the first in the world to receive power from two independent sources at once. The watch also featured the first movement with four barrels coupled in parallel and series. Maximilian Büsser’s ability to work with the greatest in the world is evidenced by the awe and admiration that even the most seasoned collectors express when presented with an MB&F piece.
